False Alarm at Toronto Facility, 1025 Lansdowne Ave.

On Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at approximately 9:45 a.m. an alarm was accidently triggered at BWXT Nuclear Energy Canada’s Toronto plant as a result of a routine maintenance test. Toronto Fire Services responded whereupon BWXT NEC environmental health and safety staff, who were on site, verified that it was a false alarm. 

There was no health or safety risk posed to the public or employees.
